We are provided Chapel space and security from the management team of the St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Airport Chaplains are in many ways like Chaplains at hospitals, in the military, prisons and other government entities. In the airport we are specially trained to assist the airport management and security to maintain a safe and secure environment. Our main purpose is to serve as a source of spiritual and emotional support for airport and contractor staff as well as passengers suffering from anxiety.
We are a 501 (c) non-profit organization, organized in 1984, to bring a ministry of presence to travelers and Staff of the St. Louis Lambert International Airport in St.Louis, Missouri. Our Mission
Do good for our traveling neighbors, we are here just briefly. We will never have this moment again nor the opportunity for a do-over; but we are present in this passing moment to smile and greet in friendship, to lighten each’s others burden by listening and assistance, to offer hospitality to those worn out by life and to comfort those who mourn.
As ordained members of the clergy we are held to the standard of protecting the privileged communications of our clients. We serve to empathetically listen to the concerns of others, and interact with compassion and care as appropriate. In this process we can provide comfort and understanding from an objective and concerned viewpoint.
